Saturday’s group was a bit smaller than Thursday’s was. But there was an adorable 12-week-old GSD named Carla. She is a very smart little puppy and was able to sit or down for her treats.
Carla’s bfs (Best Friend Saturday) was a 1-year-old American Eskimo…did you know that this breed actually originated in Germany also? Anyway, they were running and tumbling and wrestling like crazy, then they would go cool off in the pool. Anyway, that was the best part of my day.
I stayed there and talked and watched for about an hour then strolled back across campus to the dorm. On the way, I took some shots of something that caught my attention just as soon as I saw it. They don’t have many pine trees here, so pine bark mulch would have to be shipped in and is bound to be more expensive than other local commodities. Soo…can you guess what they are using here at OK State for mulch? I’ll even give you a picture clue. I’ll let you think about it while I join the group to watch “Tangled” (yes, we know it’s a Disney movie…college students can watch Disney movies, too!) If you can’t figure it out, I’ll tell you tomorrow.
